Who We Are
Kisaq is a full-service general construction contractor. We also provide environmental services and select installation support services.
The Kisaq Construction Division provides vertical construction for federal, institutional and commercial clients nationwide. Typical projects include barracks, military base housing, dining facilities, office buildings, recreational, industrial, and similar structures.
The Kisaq Environmental Division provides environmental restoration services, permitting, compliance, and NEPA support for public and private projects.

A Family of Companies
Kisaq is 100 percent minority-owned by Akmaaq, LLC, a management subsidiary within the NANA Family of Companies. Akmaaq’s parent company, NANA Regional Corporation, was formed in 1972 following the enactment of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. That Act, the largest land claims settlement in United States history, transferred land titles to Alaska’s indigenous people through the formation of 13 Regional Alaska Native Corporations.
NANA’s sole purpose is to provide for the economic and cultural well-being of our owners – the Inupiat Eskimo people who originated in northwest Alaska.
